We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2023, at the age of 78, Shirley Ann Meyer in Seward, Nebraska, born in Waverly, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Laverne Roettjer; and her nephew Kody Roettjer. She is survived by : her mother Iva Mae Roettjer; her brother Steve; her former life partner David E. Meyer; her children, James Meyer and Annette Meyer Matijczyk (Jake); and her brother Duane Roettjer (Gina, family: Steve Roettjer).

She then worked in medical research for Group Health in Seattle, Washington. and for the Celiac Foundation in Seward, NE.
