He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Palacios of Shelby; his children, Jose Gustavo (Gaby) of Shelby, Juan Alberto of Shelby, Carmen (Jesus) of Polk, Victor Alfonso (Alondra) of David City, Ema (Fidel) of Shelby and Carlos (Andrea) of David City; and his siblings, Armando Vallejo, Jorge (Esperanza), Adnan (Isidra), Susana (Pablo) and Esperanza. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church (210 S Walnut St, Shelby, NE 68662). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shelby Catholic Cemetery.
