She is survived by: her son Clifford Thingstad (Clara) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Darrin, Kaylean (Nick Thate), Alex and Natalie; her great grandchildren, Cooper and Levi; her grandchildren, Lucas, Kameron and Macie; her great grandchild Allen Thingstad (Brittney) of Norfolk, NE; her grandchildren, Trisha, Harlie, Cohen and Kyler; her siblings, Rick Wombacher (Peggy), Danny Wombacher (Bev), Barry Wombacher (Marilyn), Marla Prososki, Peg Rock (Dave) and John Wombacher (Julia); Dawn Koch (Jesse) of Hartington, NE.
In lieu of flowers, plants, statues, etc., the family requests memorials be directed to the family for the establishment of a college scholarship fund in Babs' name to benefit girls involved in golf.
