He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Augustin and Betty Vrbka; his siblings, Susan Ott and Cal Vrbka; his grandparents, Joseph, Tillie Vrbka, Harman and Helen Augustin; his brother-in-law LaVerne Kuhnel; and his parents-in-law, Jerome'Lefty' and Pat Gabriel.
He is survived by: his wife Peg of Shelby; his sons, Heath Vrbka (Kelsey) of Rising City and Thomas Vrbka (Joy) of Auburn, AL; his grandsons, Coy, Jett, Nash and Beau; his siblings, Judy McWilliams (Kevin) of Springfield, MO, Lori Freeman of Lincoln, Andy Vrbka (Jodie) of Columbus, Angie King (Virgil) of Shelby and Nancy Vrbka of Omaha; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Ott of Osceola, Tim Gabriel (Mary) of Fremont, Barb Swanson (Kurt) of Shelby and Carol Faller (Todd) of Waco. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
