With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Nicholas Eller of Shelby, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Eller and Genevieve Eller (Zohner); his wife Sharon "Sue" Scow; his daughter Brenda Hines; and his brother-in-law Gerald Hopwood.
He is survived by: his son Terry Eller (Brenda) of Humphrey; his grandchildren, Nikki Kuhr (John), Dixie Vaughn, Allie Payne (Dustin), Brody Eller (Erik), Trent Eller (Brooke), Brooke Hinrichs (Dylan), Kaitlyn Eller (Michael), Riley Eller and Nolan Eller; and his siblings, Richard Eller Jr. (Kathy) of Columbus, Donna Hopwood of Shelby and Sharon McMeekin (Bill) of Columbus. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall Fund, or Shelby Fire Department.
