We bid farewell to Wilma J. Walcott of Shelton, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Wilma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Meyer and Anna Meyer; and her husband Lester Walcott. She is survived by: her children, Mike Walcott of Kearney, Deb Nigbur (Mike) of Colorado Springs and Judy Leidy (Don) of Littleton; her grandsons, Brad Nigbur (Allison) and Brandon Nigbur; her great grandchild Emery Nigbur of Colorado Springs; and her siblings, Ron Meyer (Opal) and Fay Myers (Bruce). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wilma's honor to Orphan Grain Train, which distributes needed items to 71 countries or Mission Central, which provides resources for mission outreach, education, and disaster response around the world.
