He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Charlotte Makey) of Hutchinson, KS and Ashley Makey of Sidney, NE; his siblings, Gerry (Peggy Makey) of Severance, CO, Tim (Robin Makey) of Seward, NE, Bill Makey of Sidney, NE and Linda Nienhuser of Gurley, NE.; his grandchildren, Kaden Makey (Ashley) of Hutchinson, KS, Kyle Makey of Houston, TX and Chalie Makey (Tanner) of Hutchinson, KS; his great grandchildren, Payton and Braxton Makey of Hutchinson, KS; and his brother-in-law Hank (Christine Radtke) of Sidney, NE.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery - Sidney (530 Greenwood Rd, Sidney, NE 69162).
