With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Phillips Jr. of Sidney, Nebraska, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Phillips Sr. and Eleanor Lauretta Woolhiser; and his mother-in-law Roberta Baird. He is survived by: his wife Kim Phillips of Sidney, NE; his daughter Presley (Zach); his father-in-law Clyde Baird of Gering, NE; his siblings-in-law, Shelly Teague of Miller's Creek, NC, Rick (Michelle Scott) and Jeff Scott of Gering, NE; his aunt Mary Lou Phillips of Winner, SD; his sibling's children, Ryan, Derek, Dakota, Jeff, Dalton, Justin, Alesha, Ashlee and Kendall; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayden, Kamryn, Wyatt, Caiti, Abby, Maddie and Kaiden.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Methodist Church - Sidney (1140 10th Ave, Sidney, NE 69162). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service (1140 10th Ave, Sidney, NE 69162).
