With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Ward of Sidney, Nebraska, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Ward to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Lonnie Ward, Joan Stockstill and Joyce Philbrick; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie (Darlene Fletcher), Jack Briggs, Quentin Chapman Chapman (Wilma) and Louis (Margie Thomas).

He is survived by : his wife Bonnie Ward; his children, Brian Ward, Tammy Wren (Rick), Linda Ward, Eric Ward (Elizabeth) and Brad Ward; his grandchildren, Wendy Moheng (Dave), Mindy Kimpston (Josh), Tobyn Ward and Jamis Ward; his great grandchildren, Connor Moheng, Gavin Moheng, Savannah Moheng, Elliott Ward, Skylar Aultman, Logan Aultman, Memphis Kimpston, Zoiee Ward, Miniee Ward and Ace Ward; his brothers, Cecil Ward, Darwin Ward and Charles Ward; and his sister-in-law Shirley Briggs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Chapel (500 S Main St, Sidney, IA 51652). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sidney Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to the Sidney Rescue Squad.
