She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ada Anderson and Carl Anderson; her daughters, Lori Sis (Jeff) of Denison, Iowa, Lynn Knuppel and Lea McMonigle (Craig) of Overland Park, Kansas.; her husband Dale Engelbart of Pender; her sister Imogene Waner; Lesa Merchant. She was also cherished by other loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, a multitude of friends, and her "adopted" daughter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home (1431 W 29th St, South Sioux City, NE 68776). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
The family requests that in lieu of sending flowers, people direct their memorial gifts to the family or to the First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City.
