He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Koch and Clara Koch (Lux); his wife Jayne Koch (Friedrich); his child Kerry Behrendt (Michael); his grandchildren, Madeline and Joseph of New Berlin, WI; his daughters, Audrey Schooley of Urbandale, IA, Holly Sullivan (Aaron) of La Crosse, WI and Becky Santee (Zach); his grandchildren, Abby, Maya, Emma and Oliver of Fargo, ND; his children, Annie Rife (Aaron) of Buhl, ID and John Koch (Maddie) of Iowa City, IA; his siblings, Donna Culver of Sioux City, Mark Koch (Janie) of Sergeant Bluff, Paul Koch (Lynne) of Unionville, MO, Pat Koch (Tammy) of Hot Springs, AR and Rose Palsgaard (Eric) of Hollister, CA; his aunt Mary Stewart (Marlin); his mother-in-law Agnes Friedrich of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings-in-law, Jim Friedrich of Wagner, SD, Lloyd Friedrich (Ivone) of Lavras, Lyle Friedrich of Rock Rapids, IA and Jackie AlSaffar (Faez) of Sioux Falls, SD; his close friend Terry Moran (Mike); and his siblings' children, Shannon Koch, Kevin Culver and Kyle Koch. He was also cherished by many cousins, nephews and nieces; dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be split between Owen's Outfitters of Sioux Falls, where Dad gratefully borrowed supplies for his short term needs, and Hospice of the Midwest, who sent him a physical angel, Jason, on his last days on Earth.
