He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilburn Steffe, Jr. and Mary Lou Steffe (Lacy); and his sister Mary "Tooty" Vugteveen (Steffe). He is survived by: his children, Brandon Steffe (Brianna) and Erin Kimbell (Craig); his grandchildren, Abraxas Luvelle, Camdyn Steffe, Bristol Steffe, Jamison Kimbell, Samantha Kimbell and Coryn Kimbell; his fiancé Donnette Hatch; his sister Barb Taylor; his friend Barb Steffe; his nieces, Becky, Amy and Jenny; and his nephew Ronnie. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Siouxland Center for Active Generations, an organization that brought Bob much enjoyment, friendship, and connection.
