He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mauer and Bertha Mauer (Kellogg); his daughter Serena Mauer; and his brothers, Kenneth and Frank Mauer.
He is survived by: his daughter Trina L. Johnson; and his stepchildren, Doug Martin (Colette), Tonya Galles (Steve) and Dawn Martin.
