It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Sedlacek of Springfield, Nebraska, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Sedlacek; and his wife Ellen Sedlacek (Jean). He is survived by: his children, Jane Sedlacek, Janice Porubski (Richard), Steve Sedlacek and Mary Lamprecht; his grandchildren, Erin, Jacob, Chandler, Shannon and Jaden; his great grandchild Callum; his brother Bill Sedlacek (Mary Ellen); and his sister-in-law Elaine Sedlacek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
