Kathleen Marie Biernbaum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Marie Biernbaum of Springfield, Nebraska, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Kathleen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris McCleary and Nellie McCleary; her sister Marilyn Riehl; and her husband Bill Biernbaum. She is survived by: her brother John McCleary; her children, Jeff Biernbaum and Wendy Biernbaum (Craig Coffman); and her granddaughter Alison Biernbaum. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Open House at the la Vista Conference Center (12520 Westport Pkwy, La Vista, NE 68128). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (100 9th St, Springfield, NE 68059). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's or the American Cancer Society.
