He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Schwager of Springview, NE and Joann Schwager of Valentine, NE.; his granddaughter Miah Wiebelhaus of Springview; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Harlan of Bassett and Violet Sullivan of Estacada, OR.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoch Funeral Homes Inc. (1320 E 4th St, Ainsworth, NE 69210). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery N. Hwy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Elmer's name for a future designation.
