She was predeceased by: her parent Longin Karel; her husband Robert Prusa; her mother Rosie Karel Klimes (Drahota); her stepfather George Klimes; her siblings, Milo Karel, Longin Karel (Dorothy) and Shirley Stodola (Alvin); her brothers-in-law, Richard Prusa and Joe Prusa (Georgeann); her son-in-law Mike Race; and her granddaughter Lacey Prusa.
She is survived by: her children, Longin Prusa (Julie) of Norfolk, Cheryl Wolverton (Al) of Stanton, John Prusa (Rhonda) of Stanton, Jim Prusa (Deb) of Effingham, IL, Sandra Race (late Mike) of Stanton and Barb Kelley (Doug) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church- Stanton (1506 Ivy St, Stanton, NE 68779). A vigil service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
