It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet E. Roenfeldt of Stanton, Nebraska, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Janet farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janet is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hilliges and Helen Hilliges (Porter); her husband Walt; and her sister Lois Kingsley. She is survived by: her brother Dick Hilliges (Margaret); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Anders and Clara Severa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
