He is survived by : his former life partner Sally Nelson; his children, Amy Vollbrecht (Todd), Jeremy Hauf and Luke Hauf; his grandchildren, Megan Wietfeld (Nate) and Nelson Vollbrecht (Brianna); his great grandchildren, Kallie, Mollie Wietfeld, Taya, Alyx and Grady Vollbrecht; his brother Marlin "Shorty" Hauf; and his sister-in-law Janie Hauf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
