Marcella Suchan Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcella Suchan of Stanton, Nebraska, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Suchan of Peter's Catholic Church; her son Richard; her parents-in-law, Rudolph and Bessie Suchan; her sister Janice; her brother-in-law Leo Rueschhoff; her brothers, Leonard Kabes and Donald Kabes; her siblings-in-law, Alma Suchan and Wilfred Wiese; and her nephews, Gregg Rueshhoff and Robert Wiese.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Thomsen (Einer) of Omaha and Michael Suchan (Lori) of Kearney; her daughter-in-law Lori Suchan of Omaha; her sisters, Marjorie Wiese and Elaine Snyder (Ron); and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Kabes and Almarine Kabes. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church- Stanton (1506 Ivy St, Stanton, NE 68779). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Stanton Cemetery North Hwy (83899 NE-57, Stanton, NE 68779).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Peter's Catholic Church or Stanton High School FFA.
