She was predeceased by : her parents, Myron Bakewell and Velna Bakewell (Bay); her husband Elton; her brother-in-law Frank Lanka; her stepmother Wilma Bakewell (Foight); her son-in-law Mike Pollnow; and her sister-in-law Beth Foight.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Wonch (Cecil Lee) of Gandy, NE, Vanessa Grimsley (George) of Blanchard, OK, Sue Pollnow of Eaton, CO and Rex Lanka (Bethany) of Stapleton, NE.; her sisters, Judy Lanka (Clarence) of Stapleton, NE. and Arlene Collins (Tom) of Shawnee, KS.; her siblings-in-law, Lorna Lane of Kearney, NE, Connie Krusinowski of Omaha, NE. and Kenneth E. Lanka (Margie) of Lincoln, NE.; her stepsiblings, Darla Parker of North Platte, NE. and Lyle Foight of Paxton, NE; her grandchildren, Travi Rambali (D'Arcy) of McCook, NE., Angie Hopper (Daniel) of Stapleton, NE., Lee Wonch (DanDee) of Arnold, NE., Amanda Fletcher (Mike) of Arnold, NE., Adam Wonch (Melani) of Gandy, NE., Josh Nelson of Urbandale, IA., Ranae Selmeyer (DJ) of Lansing, MI., Samantha Ewing (Chris), Owen Johnson (Kim) of Eaton, CO. and Luke Johnson (Maggie) of Gering, NE.; and also Lorna Lanka (Laron Wright). She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
