With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Mary Pingel of Steele City, Nebraska, born in Reynolds, Nebraska, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Eugene and Clara Bertha Cerveny (Huss); her husband Don Pingel; and her siblings, Edmund, Don, Joe and Karen.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Pingel (Audrey), Terry Pingel (Helen) and Jeff Pingel (Melanie); and her brother Edward Cerveny (Gene). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bertha can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Fairbury, Nebraska.
