Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Harms and Shirley Harms (Cornett); and his sister Linda Kaster. He is survived by: his son Jason Harms of Sterling; and his brothers, Dennis Harms of Sterling and Jeff Harms (Reco) of Nebraska City. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
