He was predeceased by: his parents, Shannon Hazen and Erma Hazen (Wehmer); and his parents-in-law, Willie and Norma Harms (Straube). He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Hazen of Sterling; his sons, Greg Hazen (Megan) of Lincoln, Kirk Hazen (Natalie) of Lincoln, Mike Hazen (Sarah) of Lake St and Jon Hazen (Tina) of Sterling; his grandchildren, Kasey of Lincoln, Kye Hazen of Lincoln, Kensington of Lincoln, Graham Hazen of Lincoln, Noah, Madison, Luke Hazen of Lake St, Blake, Clayton and Alexis Hazen of Sterling; and his sister Eldonna Hazen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation with Ruth Buss in charge.
