With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Ned Salmon of Stockham, Nebraska, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Salmon and Arlene Salmon; his wife Diane Kliewer; his siblings-in-law, Arlyce Heftie, Olene Tessman, Roy Kliewer and Marlin Kliewer; and his nephew Dale Heftie.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry Slaymaker (Randy) of Kearney, NE and Colt Salmon (Jasmin) of Sutton, NE.; his grandchildren, Kensley, Kaden Slaymaker of Kearney, NE and Zoe Salmon of Sutton, NE.; his brother Dennis Salmon (Vicki) of Hastings, NE.; and his siblings-in-law, Linette Jones (Murray) of Holdrege, NE, Carol Holl (David) of Kearney, NE, Helen Kliewer of Stockham, NE, Mickey Kliewer of Wymore, NE., Orin Kliewer (Janet) of Aurora, NE, Berdon Kliewer (Vivian) of Stockham, NE, Doug Tessman (Karen) of Stockham, NE and Richard Heftie (Cheryl) of Stockham, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Community Church (401 Scott St, Aurora, NE 68818). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
