“I am so saddened to hear of the death of a very dear friend and adopted sister. Ever since we served as District Presidents for the VFW Auxiliary in 2002-2003 we have known each other as "sis". We both traveled down a similar road as we both remarried and shared stories of having grandchildren, through these marriages. Will miss her big smile and hugs but will carry her love and memories with me. Sherri Jeffery”
