We are sad to announce that, on May 24, 2026, at the age of 87, Marlene M. Larson of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Anderson and Mildred Anderson (Dick); her husband Wallace Larson; her grandchildren, Mickey Larson and Lindsay Larson; her brother Dr. Dale Anderson; and her brother-in-law Frank Spires.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Larson (Terri) of Stromsburg, NE, Steve Larson (Jody) of Stromsburg, NE and Shelli Hackenkamp (Craig) of Stromsburg, NE; her sister Cheryl Kess (Tom) of Harrisburg, PA; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Spires of Central City, NE and Marjorie Anderson of Lincoln, NE; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Lacey, Emily, Brandon, Ashley, Justin, Chase and Kayla. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church in Stromsburg.
