He is survived by : his children, Daniel Klabunde, Rebecca Holloway, Bettie Klabunde, Mary Davis, Otto Herman Klabunde III, Meta Miner, Alberta Hansen, Susannah Perry and Benjamin Klabunde; and his brother Charles Klabunde.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Roeder Mortuary (2727 N 108th St, Omaha, NE 68164). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (1105 N Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534).
