He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph O'Hara and Mabel O'Hara (Johnson); his wife Barb; his sister Phyliss Herman (Edwin); and his brother-in-law Bill Polson.

He is survived by: his children, Jon O'Hara (Beth) of Valparaiso, IN, Nancy Stoll (Randy) of York and Janet Sawyer (Bob) of Stromsburg; his grandchildren, Patrick O'Hara (Audrey), Evan O'Hara (Riza), Kevin O'Hara (Ziona), Heidi Seaborn (Joe), Mary Fogler (Robert), Ryan Moore (Tara), Jacob Moore (Eva), Laura Guerrier (Nick), Kari Sawyer and Jason Sawyer (Jenetta); and his sister Shirley of Plainview, IN. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dubas Funeral Home (214 Commercial St, Stromsburg, NE 68666).
