Steven Holtzen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 73, Steven Holtzen of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold H. Holtzen and Lenora Holtzen (Loontjer); and his sisters, Nancy Trexler and Bonny Shroetlin. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Culp; his sons, Kevin (Angela Holtzen) of Stromsburg, Jay (Erin Holtzen) of Stromsburg and Timothy of Bradshaw; his grandchildren, Nathan Holtzen (Erin), Zachary Holtzen, Ashton Holtzen, Christian Holtzen (Camryn), Kenna Tidyman (Ben), Dane Holtzen, Justin Holtzen and Riley Hammons; and his great grandchildren, Barrett, Warren Holtzen, Kaden Holtzen and Quincy Tidyman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (610 Commercial St, Stromsburg, NE 68666). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stromsburg Cemetery (1412 Co Rd 126, Stromsburg, NE 68666).
Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church in Stromsburg or Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola, Neb.
