He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dick Gehrt and Della Gehrt; and his siblings, Debbie, Jeanne and Jerry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Church of Sumner East (101 E 2nd Ave, Sumner, NE 68878). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Eddyville Community Center (302 Sycamore St, Eddyville, NE 68834).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the Sumner Or Eddyville Volunteer Fire and Rescue or the Nebraska Veterinarian Medical Association Scholarship fund.
