He is survived by: his wife Ferne Joyce Grabast; his children, Scott, Candace and Holly Placke (Jim) of Seward, NE; his sister Betty Butler; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kliem (Jeremy) of Fargo, ND, Daren Lemke (Nicole) of Lincoln, NE, Whitney Huynh (Tri) of Suwanee, GA, Cody Butler (Whitney), Lindsey Havranek (Austin) of West Point, NE, Kendra Placke (Sami) of Bennington, NE, Breanna Placke, Makayla Swiercek (Dalton) of Syracuse, NE and Shanna Utecht (Shaun) of Denver, CO.
