He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rotert and Lillian Rotert (Myers); his brothers, Kenneth Rotert (Betty) and Delmar Rotert (Barbara); his siblings' children, Janice Chick and Martin Rotert; his parents-in-law, Marge Frels, Clarence Frels and Jess Warner; and his siblings-in-law, Opal Barclay, Pat Finch, Ron Warner, Jim Warner (Genie) and Bud Warner (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Peg; his children, Deb Lavaley (Randy), Jim Rotert (Teresa) and David Rotert (Sue); his brother Dr. Larry Rotert (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Brandon Lavaley (Marnell), BreAnn Denison (Chad), Jason Lavaley (Laura), Brian Rotert (Shannon), Matthew Rotert, Nickie Kroon (Matt), Jake Rotert (Sami) and Britni Walz (Chad). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
