Doug Fastenau Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Fastenau of Sutherland, Nebraska, born in Sidney, Nebraska, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Fastenau and Ruth Fastenau (Miller); his siblings, Terry Fastenau and Carol Hanneman; and his father-in-law Paul Husmann.

He is survived by: his wife Chris of Sutherland; his children, Sara O'Hare (Brady) of Kearney and Kyle Fastenau of Milford; his grandchildren, Carsyn, Garrett, Rylie, Kendyl and Peyton O'Hare; his mother-in-law Myrna Hallsted of North Platte; and his sisters-in-law, Mickey Shepherd (Doug) of Winfield, KS and Kellie Blickenstaff (Tom) of Sun Lakes, AZ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation in the Sutherland community.
