In loving memory of Richard Allen Lee of Sutherland, Nebraska, who departed this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 62. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert E. Lee; his mother-in-law Jan Haugland; and his sister-in-law Jill Haugland White (Garrett Schlichtemier). He is survived by: his mother Ruth Lee (Erickson); his sons, James and Austin; his brothers, Robert Lee (Kelly) of Lemars, IA and Rodney Lee (Sara) of Central City, NE; his parents-in-law, Jim and Donna Haugland; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce White of Sutherland, NE, Chris Skov (Liz) of Hershey, NE, Scott Skov (Lisa) of Sidney, NE, Sandi O'Connell (Chris) of Omaha, NE and Cari Jay (Johnathon) of Castle Rock, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1010 2nd St, Sutherland, NE 69165).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the church or to the Sutherland FFA alumni for the beef-in-the-schools program.
