Roger Lickliter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lickliter of Sutherland, Nebraska, born in Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Roger is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roger's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Mitzi; and his children, Matthew (Brittney Swaink) of Lincoln, Mark (Nicole) of Council Bluffs, IA, Micah of Sutherland and Cassandra Carton (Jonathan) of Rock Island, IL. He is also survived by 12 grandkids, a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Baptist Church (400 Pioneer Trce Rd, Sutherland, NE 69165). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (31350 W Sutherland Cemetery Rd, Sutherland, NE 69165).
