He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Scheierman and Elizabeth Scheierman (Bott); his sisters, Ruth Scheierman and Gertrude Monson; his brother-in-law Marlow Monson; his niece Kay Monson; and his grandson David Murray III.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Joyce Mekelburg of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Scott Scheierman (Shannon) of Aurora, NE, Renee Mason (Brad) of Beloit, KS, Kristi Murray (David) of Krum, TX and Darla Thompson (Steve) of McCook, NE; his grandchildren, Jama, Jasa, Baylor, Masa and Booker Scheierman; his children, Brendon, Bryce Mason, Hattie (Luke), Madeline (David), Bridger Murray, Sydney, Hannah and Abigail Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Haisley and Everly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sutton Community Home Foundation.
