He was predeceased by : his parents, Deldon Sedersten and Jean Sedersten (Stonehocker); his stepmother Marge Sedersten; his brother Mike Sedersten; his parents-in-law, Donald and Helen Detwiler; and his stepsisters, Norma Carlson (Harold), Janet Gaski and Joyce Sedersten.

He is survived by : his wife Lori Sedersten of Sutton; his children, John Sedersten, Gabe Sedersten (Anna) of Sutton, Kylie Sedersten (Lyn Collins) of Sutton and Monica Holdsworth (Richard) of Hastings; his grandchild Riley Lewis; his daughters, Rachel Dawson, Keiji Collins (Kiarra), Kaylee Sedersten, Laekyn Collins, Tayler Holdsworth, Alexis Holdsworth, Victoria Sedersten, Elizabeth Sedersten and Sophia Sedersten; his great grandchildren, Todd and Theodore; and his siblings, Marland Sedersten (Mary) of Sutton, Paul Sedersten (Kris) of Harvard and Ellen Sedersten (Marv Wilson Jr.) of Honey Creek, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
