It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dixie Roberta Weldon of Sutton, Nebraska, born in Silver Creek, Nebraska, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Chester Brummett and Yvonne Brummett (Murry); her husband Burl Weldon; her children, Bruce B. (Lois) of Lawrence, KS, Dudley D. Weldon (Joy) of Gilbert, AZ, Marcia L. (Richard Docekal), Murray J. (Lucie Weldon), Jody Y Weldon of Tucson, AZ, Curtis R (Corinne Weldon), Nancy J. Peta of Hendersonville, TN and James L. (Josephine Weldon); her granddaughter Dixie; her sister Marguerite Galusha (Punkie) of Lake Worth, FL; her granddaughter Rachelle Renee Peta; and her son-in-law Richard Docekal. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date this summer.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sutton Memorial Library.Dixie was born June 19, 1931, in Silver Creek, NE to Chester and Yvonne (Murry) Brummett.
