He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Hiway Ted" Schroetlin and Beulah Schroetlin (Neel); his wife Dianne; his daughter Brenda Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Good, Arnold Toben, Rupert Stahr and Marvin Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Dolezal (Ted), Debra Adams, Dee Van Donselaar (Michael) and Jacob Schroetlin (Celeste); his grandchildren, Casey Beechum of Arizona, Alex Van Donselaar of Arizona, Lydia Martinez of Arizona, Katie Van Donselaar of Nebraska, Maddison Schroetlin of New Mexico and Creighton Thompson of Colorado; his great grandchildren, William Schroetlin, Kennedy Van Donselaar and Gianna Beechum; his sisters, Marilyn Toben, Judy Good, Janie Wenzl (Lloyd) and Terri Fisher (Dana); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Stahr, Jeanne Johnson and Bill Flickinger (Nancy).
