He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jacob F. Ulmer and Julia Ulmer (Serr); his children, Donald, Robert "Bob" Ulmer (Rhonda), Bonnie Cardinal (Ulmer) and Glenn Ulmer (Cindy); and his wife Verta. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
