She was predeceased by : her husband Richard Ekwall; her parents, Otto Kohler and Irma Kohler; her siblings, Morrie, Victor Kohler and Norma Wagner; and her son Thomas.

She is survived by : her children, Stephen Ekwall, David Ekwall and Sharon (Robert Hair); her grandchild Shawn Ekwall (Megan); her children, Nicole Ekwall, Christopher Ekwall and Matthew Kellie; her stepgranddaughter Erica Hair; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Nolan Ekwall and Elijah Kellie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Fairmont Community Church.
