She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wilken and Delores Wilken (Winters); and her siblings, Herman Wilken and Darlene. She is survived by: her husband Dale Young; her sons, Todd Young (Dana) and Marty Young (Jill); and her grandchildren, Riley Young, Gabi Young and Lily Young.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Park Hill Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Luther Memorial Church (1162 Mohawk St, Syracuse, NE 68446).
