The passing of Elda A. Boardman of Syracuse, Nebraska occurred on October 25, 2026. Elda, born on December 2, 1937, is remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Halm and Ida Halm (Doeden); her husband Harold R. Linquist; her son Raymond Linquist; her siblings, Paul John Halm, Harold Halm and Clara Albers; and her son-in-law Tim Morrow.
She is survived by: her children, James Wilmot Jr., Sharon Morrow, Carol Linquist, Mark Linquist and David Linquist (Karen); her grandchildren, Matthew Morrow, Stephanie Farmer (Chris) and Ashley McRoberts; and her brother Eldon Halm (Kathy). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (511 7th St, Syracuse, NE 68446).
Memorials are suggested to the Syracuse Rescue Squad.
