With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Marie Meadows of Syracuse, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hespen and Anna Hespen (Harms); her husband Howard Meadows; her grandson Brian Meadows; and her son-in-law Darrell Berner.

She is survived by: her children, Patti Luebe (Doug), Barb Zahn (Ron), Steve Meadows (Deb Rich), Bruce Meadows, Lori Kaiser (Greg Niday) and Teri Chaney (Lyle); her grandchildren, Jill Allgood (Jeff Brown), Brianna Berner (Adam Verna), Brynne Berner, Travis Meadows, Jeremy Kaiser (Angie), Matt Kaiser, Christopher Niday, Josh Chaney, Scott Chaney (Lydia) and Tara Chaney; and her stepgrandchildren, Rachel Zahn, Katy Biehl (Ben) and Noah Zahn (Jessie). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
