Joyce J. Burke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce J. Burke of Syracuse, Nebraska, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Scofield I and Jonybell Scofield (Nash); her husband Mark Burke; and her sisters, Ruth Schmidt and Nancy Scofield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanene French (Terry) and Eileen Shipps (Ron); her grandchildren, Andrea Werner (Brian), Ross French (Thalia), Jason Burnam (Gina) and Curtis Stafford; and her brother Oliver Scofield II. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Syracuse Bible Church (100 Parker Dr, Syracuse, NE 68446).
