Mark P. Weiler Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark P. Weiler of Syracuse, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Weiler and Gloria Weiler (Barr); his wife Kathi Reuter; his siblings, Gary Weiler (Joyce Gilbert) and Sue Antes (Kent); his children, Jay Weiler (Jo), Lynn Wilhelm (Nick) of Syracuse, Mark (Kathi), Brett Weiler (Randi) of Lincoln and Zane Weiler (Kaela Pettit) of Syracuse; his grandson Derek Weiler (Ellie); his great grandchildren, Beckett and Amelia of Dunbar; his grandchildren, Taylor Weiler of Omaha, Vanessa Weiler of Kansas City, Sam Varney of Lincoln, Tessa Varney of Lincoln, Livia Wagner (Dylan) and Halle Wilhelm of Syracuse; his brothers-in-law, Matt Reuter, Kurt Reuter of Dunbar, Rod Reuter (Connor) and Randy Reuter of Lincoln; his in-laws, Ronald (Bud) and Marilyn Reuter (Ahrens); and his sister-in-law Sue Weiler. He was also cherished by many nieces, relatives, and dear friends.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation, including Syracuse American Legion Baseball program.
