She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schwartman and Minnie Schwartman (Dorsch); her stepfather Lenhard Hespen; her brother Gary Schwartman; her parents-in-law, Ervin and Doris Kastanek; her siblings-in-law, Cindy Kastanek, Donna Kastanek, Karen Schwartman and Larry Masters; her nephews, Kennon Schwartman, Jay Short and Rick Short; her niece Tammy Cozad; Jon Carlson.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Kastanek; her children, Tonya Sacks (Dave) and Jason Kastanek (Vicky); her grandsons, Justin and Jordan Sacks; her stepgrandchildren, Tysen and Blake Baker; and her siblings, Wilma Masters, Phyllis Short, Bill Schwartman, Ronnie Schwartman (Onalee), Jane Clark (Gary), Roger Schwartman and John Schwartman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
