He is survived by: his mother Sandra Lee Wachter (Osborn) of Auburn; his wife Shelly Wachter of Syracuse, NE; his sons, Mitchell Wachter (Alexandria) of Weeping Water, Cordell Wachter of Lincoln, Robert Howard (Sarah) of Fullerton, Dustin Howard (Tiffany) of Omaha and Daniel Howard (Rebecca) of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Theodore, Sutton Wachter, Addi, Madi Shippen, Cooper, Hunter, Makenzie and Conner Howard; his sister Laura Wachter of Nebr; his half-brother Ken Moyer (Kelly) of Rochester, MN; his mother-in-law Esther Bowers of Colorado Springs, CO; Austin Tyson, Chastity Tyson and Emily Tyson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, five fur babies and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
