With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Blake Kuhlmann of Table Rock, Nebraska, born in Tecumseh, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 51. He was predeceased by: his mother Penny Higgins; his grandparents, Reinhard, Leona Kuhlmann, Jerry and Dorothy Higgins; and his father-in-law Lonnie Herrick.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Kuhlmann of Table Rock; his children, Schuyler Kuhlmann of Humboldt, Sutton Kuhlmann of Table Rock, Taylor Johnson (Jordyn) of Lincoln, Brooke Milke (Matthew) of Stella and Bailey Hickey (Jesse) of Stella; his grandchildren, Creighton, Nova, Merritt Johnson of Lincoln, Spencer, Alaina Milke of Stella and Morgan Hickey of Stella; his siblings, Harry Dean (Stacie) of Steinauer, Michael Kuhlmann of Table Rock, Lisa Elsner (Darrell) of Platte Center, NE and Sabrina Dean (Brandi Dixon) of Kansas City, MO; his mother-in-law Fran Herrick of Steinauer; his siblings-in-law, Jody Ketter (Chad) of Home, KS, Kelly Kohmetscher (Bruce) of Blue Hill, NE and John Herrick (Kristen) of Table Rock; Orlin Kuhlmann (Sue) of Table Rock. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (207 Nemaha St, Humboldt, NE 68376). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tiger Pride Activity Center (Old Table Rock School) (608 6th St, Table Rock, NE 68447).
Memorial contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later designation.
